Appications for Reception 2012/2013 can still be made but will be treated as late applications.  The information below is provided for guidance as the closing date has now passed.

If your child was born between 1 September 2007 and 31 August 2008 he/she can start school after September 2012.

You were able to apply online for a place once the application window has opened, from 14 October until 15 January.  

If you live in West Sussex you were sent an Information for Parents booklet and application form to your home address in the week ending 14 October 2011. Completed application forms should have been returned to your catchment or preferred school or to West Sussex LA.

West Sussex residents must use their form or the West Sussex online system to apply for schools in another county.

If you live outside West Sussex and wish to apply for a place in this county, you can do so by completing your own council's application form, or via their website

The closing date for applications was 15 January 2012.

If you did not apply by the closing date this will affect the priority given to your application.

You will be advised which school your child has been offered after 1 April 2012. 

Year Groups other than Reception.

Key Stage 2 classes are subject to a class size reduction programme and places will not become available, even if another child leaves.  We are reducing our year groups from 53 to 45 over the coming years.  Parents are most welcome to ask for their application to be placed on our waiting list.
