Welcome to Reception!

We have been enjoying school and having fun!

Things to remember:

-You can stay and play with your child every morning Monday-Thursday until 9.15am. It is the perfect opportunity to change your child's choosing book in the reading corner or have some reading time.

-From Friday 14th October we will be having a short phonics recap session from 9am. Please come along to help learn the letter sounds with your child. This will then help you with supporting your childs' reading.

-Don't Forget! Reception Reading Morning, Friday 7th October 9-10am. Come along and learn about how we teach reading through our reading scheme and phonics.

Can we ask:

-If you are available for helping on school visits and walks around the area, please let your child's class teacher know as soon as possible. We do go on walks in the locality throughout the year and any help is welcomed!

-It is always useful to have a spare set of clean underwear and socks in your childs PE bag, accidents do happen!

-Please can all items that come into school be named.

-Please ensure that your child has a waterproof coat in school at all times. We do go outside in all weathers!
