Have you ever met a Knight? Well, Year 1 and 2 at Our Lady Queen of Heaven have!

On Thursday 15th September, Year 1 and 2 were visited by Sir Teachalot, a Knight!

He showed us how to make a castle and we learnt a lot about the different parts of a castle. Later we had fun destroying the castle using a trebuchet.

We had a great time jousting, we had to kill three dragons with a spear!

In the afternoon we enjoyed dressing up in suits of armour and chain mail, they were very heavy!! Mr Ryan had a great time as a Knight in a full set of armour.

At the end of the day, the Knight told us a brilliant story about a Princess who met a friendly dragon. We were able to create and write our own story of a friendly dragon!
