This week we have been learning...
We have noticed more signs of Spring when we are in our outside area: more daffodils, blossom on the trees and leaves starting to grow.
Homework this week is to see what signs of Spring you can see. If you see any signs of Spring, in your garden or out on a walk or in the park, ask an adult to take a photo and these could be added to Tapestry or emailed in to your class teacher. We will share these in class next week.
For more of a challenge, you could write a sentence about these signs of Spring.
Please continue to practise the tricky words sent home last week with your child.
Please practise reading and writing them and you could also look for these tricky words in a story book.
As a challenge, can you write a sentence using some of these words?
This week, we have been learning how to share amounts equally. We have shared amounts into 2 and 3 groups and discussed odd and even numbers.
Can you share out some toys into 2 or 3 groups? Are they shared equally? How do you know? Can you share some food/a snack between you and your brother or sister or an adult? Do you get the same amount?
Please read and share books with your child everyday.
Please make sure your child's reading book is in school each day.
We will change books when we read with your child.
Please make sure your child's PE kit is in school each day. Please make sure all items of clothing are labelled and that you have not got other children's clothes in their PE bags. Thank you.
