Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Primary School serves a diverse, open and accepting community. Whilst the majority of pupils are baptised Catholics, our intake includes children from other Christian Churches as well as other faith backgrounds including Sikhism and Islam.
As a Catholic school, everyone at Our Lady's is fully committed to the values espoused within the Gospels. As modern British values have evolved from a time when we were historically Christian, our Gospel values and British values are fundamentally the same.
Through the teaching of our curriculum, we believe in and promote core Gospel values including tolerance, acceptance, peace, being non-judgmental, humility, justice, the dignity of each human being, forgiveness, generosity, fairness, discipline and hope.
OLQOH promotes 'Prevent' to all stakeholders. Prevent forms part of the OLQOH culture of safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all of our children. For more information on 'Prevent' please click the link https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/prevent-duty-guidance
