Homework Set On: 27/02/2026

Dear all,

Coming home today is a design sheet. Children have been asked to think of a real‑life problem and create an invention that could solve it. For example, they might design a machine that tidies their bedroom or a robot that does the washing up!

This forms part of a nationwide competition, and children’s designs will be entered. The overall winning invention will even be brought to life by real engineers.

Please spend some time completing the sheet with your child and return it to school no later than Monday 9th March 2026.

Reminders

Children should wear their PE kit to school on a Monday. Please remember to remove all earrings.
