Our Lady’s is a vibrant community where every person is encouraged to make their unique contribution to creating a better society. We aim to be a joyful place where children are empowered to explore their potential through educational excellence within an environment of spiritual growth and well-being. We are proud to be an outward facing and reflective school, where all are challenged, and supported, to continually strive for excellence. Our motto is ‘Better Never Stops!’
Our Lady’s serves a diverse, open and accepting community where everyone is committed to the values espoused within the Gospels. Whilst the majority of pupils are baptised Catholics, our intake includes children from other Christian Churches as well as other faith backgrounds including Sikhism and Islam.
As a Catholic school, everyone at Our Lady’s is fully committed to the values espoused within the Gospels. As modern British values have evolved from a time when we were historically Christian, our Gospel values and British values are fundamentally the same.
Through the teaching of our curriculum, we believe in and promote core Gospel values including tolerance, acceptance, peace, being non-judgmental, humility, justice, the dignity of each human being, forgiveness, generosity, fairness, discipline and hope.
