Year 5 Homework
Maths: Prime, Square and Cube Numbers
Literacy: Non-Chronological Reports
You are expected to practise your spellings daily, writing them in your book in your best handwriting. You can challenge yourself and write the spellings into a sentence or find and write the definition of the word. We will also be practising the spelling in class.
Your maths homework will follow the learning you have been doing in class. You should ask your maths teacher if you find it difficult. Please make sure you write your numbers neatly just as you would at school.
This will usually be based on either our reading text or our writing text from class; sometimes we might do homework unrelated to our text focusing specifically on a grammar skill. You must write in your best handwriting.
You should also be reading every day. Ask your teacher when you need to change your library book.
