Good morning Year 1,
Welcome to Week 8 of Home Learning. We hope that you have had a wonderful weekend and that you are ready to get going with your learning this week.
Here is an outline of the learning for this week:
Maths: In Maths we will begin to look at sharing and understand the link with division.
Additional Support: On the Home Learning page there is a new section named Maths Revision. Here you will find videos and activities to support your child recapping key skills from their Autumn Term learning. The sheets to accompany the videos do not need to be printed as we have included them in the new Home Learning Pack (Lessons 4-8). This week’s revision focus is number and place value.
Phonics: We will be revising the Phase 5 Phonics sounds using the phonics sheets in your home learning packs and also on the Year 1 Home Learning page. Please continue to use Phonics Play and Spelling shed as these will support your child’s learning.
Please use https://www.phonicsplay.co.uk/ to support learning.
